About
Beth is the founder of the Women Investors Nashville, a local networking group with over 350 members. Previously, she spent 20 years at Mercer and Hammond Associates as a Senior Level Investment Leader (CFA, CAIA) with deep expertise in investment research, asset allocation and manager selection as an institutional investor and consultant. She is known for driving decisions creating top level performance for endowment, foundation and private wealth clients utilizing best in class governance structure, policy development, asset allocation, investment manager selection and strategy implementation. She is passionate about engaging with key stakeholders and building and leading teams to enable organizations to achieve success. Previously, Beth also worked for both Duke University and Vanderbilt University’s Endowments. She currently serves in various volunteer board positions for the following organizations: Colgate University Endowment Investment Committee, Transylvania University Board of Regents, Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee Foundation, The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, CFA Society Nashville, and Academy for Institutional Investors Editorial Board. She completed the coursework for a Ph.D in Economics at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has a B.A. in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics and German from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY where she was a William T. Young Scholar.
