About Venture Guides:
Venture Guides is a Boston-based early-stage venture capital firm managing $477M across two funds. We focus on early stage cloud infrastructure, security, AI and data companies. Venture Guides’ mission is to produce top investment returns by re-thinking venture capital in three fundamental ways. First, we utilize a unique data-driven investing methodology combined with strong domain experience to ensure our risk-framing is comprehensive. Second, we invest with a team-based approach to holistically identify, underwrite, and actively guide exceptional founders. Third, our GP co-invest is 10x the industry norm, because we believe that great investors and operators need to think like owners. We know what we own, know why we own it and know how to improve it.
We believe strongly in our firms’ founding principles: performance, transparency, and trust. Teamwork requires clear performance criteria, transparent sharing of data, and trust in one another - which begins by trusting oneself. When actively seeking risk, we will make mistakes. We view mistakes, as well as success, as opportunities for the team to learn and improve. Constant improvement is our goal.
Venture Guides knows that diverse teams perform better than non-diverse teams and is committed to promoting diversity across all our portfolio companies, which means our team must maintain diversity. As an equal opportunity employer, Venture Guides ensures that all qualified applicants will receive equal consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, religion, creed, national origin, age, ancestry, disability (physical or mental), medical condition, citizenship, marital status, pregnancy, veteran or military status, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. If you are a candidate with a disability, or are assisting a candidate with a disability, and require an accommodation to apply for one of our jobs, please email us at vgrecruiting@ventureguides.com.
